New Chapters in Life and Good Connections

So it's officially summer vacation, marking yet another new chapter in my life. Since this year's seniors finally graduated today, I guess from this point on I'm considered a senior. Not looking forward to yet another year in the educational hell called school, but I still have months until it starts up again. Huzzah for only having to face one more year of high school~! :D

But anyways, now that it's summer I'll have the time to post short updates every now and then, and I'll probably be posting a couple more food tutorials if anyone's interested. To catch up on what I haven't blogged about yet, A little less than a month ago, a relative and her two kids decided they would temporarily move in with my family and I. The oldest, a boy, is 4 years old and the youngest, the girl, is only 2. Just from knowing their ages, you can probably guess that there's endless amounts of energy flying around. They're absolutely adorable so I don't mind having them around. It's like having younger siblings all over again <3 XD

In other news, I was able to get a temporary job for the summer. My mom's close friend owns a little empanada store in SoHo, so with the help of mom good connection, I'll be helping out there every now and then. I just started working there today and I already feel as though I've been working there for a long time. XD  Couldn't have asked for a better first part-time job. I'll be working there again tomorrow for the morning and afternoon, and I have to get some sleep now; Otherwise i'll die in the morning from sleepyness.. So I guess I'll end it off here~.
