With the start of December, Most people started putting up their Christmas trees. Most people have already put up decorations to prepare for the upcoming holidays. Most people are looking forward to the presents they'll be getting at the end of the month.
I, on the other hand, am only anticipating my extra hours of sleep, and the time away from school, that comes with my week of Christmas break. All I'm asking for is to have more that 3 hours of sleep per day. I have absolutely no motivation left to do anything school related.
But anyways, since we were on the topic of 'wanting things for Christmas', ... What are you looking forward to getting this Christmas? It's most likely a material object rather than sleep, huh? But no matter what you're asking for this year, remember to be grateful for whatever you get. Someone out there worked hard to save up the money to buy what they got you. Or, in cases like mine, What you get may only be temporary. So appreciate it while you can.
..Vacation-Sleep is only temporary.
How depressing.
..I remember when I used to think Christmas was free-toy-day as a little kid~. I used to believe in Santa and everything. My tiny dreams were crushed when I was in third or fourth grade though... I honestly thought my mom was lying to me when she told me the truth, That's how much I believed in it. xD But even after I realized she wasn't lying to me, it's been a 'tradition' of sorts, to bake cookies for Santa like before. (Santa, meaning Dad. lawl)
This year, with Shiro joining the family, Christmas might be a little different. It's his first Christmas, so he's confused about the Christmas tree in the house. And the Christmas decorations he sees outside all over the place whenever we go out for walks. The "sniff-sniff-what's-that?-Can-I eat-it-or-pee-on-it" kind of confused.
I think I'm gonna get him one of those treat/toy stocking bag thingies from Petco too, so he doesn't miss out on the presents. xD
The other day we got him a doggy Santa suit, so I'll post a pic of him wearing it when it's Christmas.
